A DAY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY (printable flyer)
Fun, Food, & Live Music and Entertainment All Day

Friendly and available adoptable animals from many different shelters and rescue groups (all fixed and with shots).
Information tables, exhibits, silent auction, and a GIANT raffle.

Vaccinated, well-behaved dogs on leash welcome.

MISSION STATEMENT: In honor of “National Homeless Animals Day” we bring attention to the plight of all those animals who have become unwanted in our society. Some are homeless from being born from other stray animals, but some are homeless from neglect and abuse. Too many are abandoned because condo associations have outdated no-pet deed restrictions. Worst of all, the many pets and animals that have been abandoned and left to die without provisions or shelter. This must not be allowed or tolerated by a civilized society. In honor of this day, we are bringing awareness about all these animals to light. And as an apologetic effort to correct these wrongs, we are offering as many animals up for adoption on Homeless Animals Day as possible - to be available to good people, and to give them new homes and the love they deserve. We ask you all for your help and your compassion in making this day a new dawn for these animals.

Publicity: Last year we were fortunate to have WPLG TV channel 10 and Big 105.9 radio station who not only gave us air time leading up to the event, but were also there broadcasting on the day. We will have TV PSAs and also list in all the local papers and internet sites, plus posters and flyers, too. We will ask all the animal networks and non-profit groups to contact their mailing lists. There will also be live musical entertainment throughout the day, as well as speakers, food, info tables, and other exhibits.

We ask that all vendors pass the word of this event to all that you know. Click here for a printable flyer (or you can request a supply of flyers to pass out). Also remember that because this event is INDOORS, you won’t be rained on, have to deal with the wind, and mostly you won’t be baked by the August sun! You also don’t have to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to go save and set up your space.

We want you to know that all the monies paid in for vendors fees will go directly to charities for helping animals. This is a charitable event.

Thank you all and let’s have a great event.
